Calendar of Events

The 2022 Calendar of Events offers a range of online learning opportunities for professionals and includes: workshops, webinars and excellence circles. Learning sessions are delivered by Certified Organizational Excellence Specialists (COES) that are eligible to deliver the Train-the-Trainer program and are located in key time zones that will accommodate most professionals around the world. Additional detail on and registration for the events is available at  https://www.eventbrite.ca/o/organizational-excellence-specialists-inc-36317977633

Of special note in the calendar is the Organizational Excellence Framework workshop series that is popular for ongoing professional development and/or earning a designation. This series is also available for in-person audiences (up to 25 participants, subject to breakeven pricing) and via a Learner Management System (LMS). The LMS offers a self-paced experience with 24/7 access and additional resources such as answers to frequently asked questions and studies that validate the return-on-investment – the positive relationship between implementing best management practices found in an excellence model and improving organizational performance https://oes-learning.ca/

The foregoing learning opportunities align with leading excellence models and award programs and can be applied to any size and type of organization at any stage of maturity. In addition to sharing definitions and implementation guidelines, the OEF workshop series offers a holistic (system wide) and modular (key management area) approach to improve organizational performance. This way, the participant can apply the learning to an organization strategically – engage in a quest for excellence, strengthen the management system, train employees, address specific issues, work on opportunities for improvement, pursue strategic imperatives, prepare an application for an award  ...

Workshop Series

The OEF 1000 Workshop is a holistic session that provides an overview of the global research that validates the positive relationship between excellence models and organizational performance, an overview of the OEF publication, an understanding of how the OEF can be applied to any size or type of organization and an opportunity to self-access an organization against the principles and practices in the OEF and prepare an action-oriented improvement plan to address gaps.

The OEF 1001 to 1009 Workshops are modular sessions that cover a specific key management area in the OEF publication. These workshops provide an overview of the OEF publication, the best management practices in the key management area and an opportunity to self- assess against these practices and prepare an improvement plan to address gaps. More time is spent in the modular workshops on implementation and sharing best in class examples so the professional has an understanding of how the practices can be applied to an organization. The key management areas cover 102 best management practices and include: Governance, Leadership, Planning, Customers, Employees, Work Processes, Suppliers and Partners, Resource Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Measurement
