Dawn is Principal of Organizational Excellence Specialists and author of the Organizational Excellence Framework publication and accompanying toolkit.
Since 1984, she has consulted to management in areas that positively contribute to organizational performance and worked with organizations across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. Several of these organizations have been recognized by national excellence award programs.
Dawn has been recognized by her peers with several awards and appointments including: Quality & Excellence Builder Award (Quality Council of Alberta), Alto Award for Innovative Marketing (Travel Alberta), External Team Member (Premiers Award of Excellence), Judge (Premiers Award for Healthy Workplaces), representative for Canada (Global Benchmarking Network, Organizational Excellence Technical Committee QMD ASQ), Member Leader (Leadership Content Management Committee QMD ASQ), Advisory Board Member for ISCM Foundation.
Recently involved in two very exciting projects, Dawn has written a chapter on organizational excellence that was published in the 'Global Encyclopedia of Public Administration, Public Policy and Governance' and has led the ‘first global assessment on the current state of organizational excellence’ that was launched by the Organizational Excellence Technical Committee and has been supported by the Global Benchmarking Network, ISO Technical Committee 176 and International Academy for Quality. The latter study has provided the inaugural Global OE Index intended to benefit the excellence community and working population. Organizations can use this index to see how they measure up and compare to others by size, industry sector and region (country).
