Ms. Veronica Marquez is a is a member of the research team at OES participating on the ‘first global assessment on the current state of organizational excellence’ that was launched by the OETC and has been supported by the GBN, ISO/TC 176 and International Academy for Quality. She has over 20 years experience in Canadian and multinational organizations, specializes in operations management and continuous improvement. Veronica began her career in distribution companies where she held various positions in accounting, marketing, customer service and accounts management, and finally in distribution and warehousing operations.
Noticing that her experiences gave her a systemic view of business, she became interested in discovering how to improve the organizations where she worked. That is how she began continuous improvement training and obtained the Brambles Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and later, the ASQ’s Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Veronica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Concordia University, of a Certificate in Innovation Management as well as a Master of Science in Operations Management from HEC Montreal. A believer in the importance of teamwork, she follows her vision that is also captured by a proverb « Alone, I go faster. Together, we go further».
