Sheila is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) that specializes in corporate responsibility and sustainability. She has more than 25 years’ experience working in community investment, communications and office management, and volunteering in the community.
Her clients range from multinationals to local businesses and non-profits. She works with clients to assess their needs and then develop strategies to meet regulatory requirements, mitigate risks, leverage business culture and strengths, prepare processes to track metrics and develop internal and public reports.
Academically, she teaches corporate responsibility and sustainability for the University of Calgary, conducts research projects, and trains professional accreditation and ethics courses for the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and volunteers on the CMC Alberta Board of Directors. Sheila mentors candidates working to earn the CMC designation and is an Assessor for CMC Canada’s French Ethical Behaviour exam.
Sheila is also the volunteer President of IABC Calgary, a global professional association for communicators, and a volunteer with Scouts Canada.
