Leonardo is a consultant with wide experience in the utilization of Management Accounting and Quality Management techniques in support of organizational strategies. After having occupied accounting and management positions at private firms, he has helped organizations of different sizes and industries improve their business performance through his external advice during the customization, implementation and follow-up of well-know management frameworks and tools, such as ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems, Business Process Reengineering, Activity Based Costing, Balanced Scorecard, Quality Costing, and Customer Profitability Analysis.
In addition to consulting, Leonardo has taken part in several research projects, presented works at international conferences and published papers in specialized journals. As a teacher he has worked as a trainer for different private institutions.
Because of his mixed background in Accounting and Quality, Leonardo keeps special interest in developing, linking, and aligning financial and non-financial measures in order to help organizations succeed in their search for excellence.
